How to Handle Your Knife

You have finished your blade and now is time to put a handle on things

75 US dollars
Northwest 97th Boulevard

Service Description

In this class we will provide you with a Beaver Craft bushcraft knife making kit (pictured below; yes, the kit does include the sheath) to which we will show you how to attach the scales. While waiting for the epoxy to cure you will also get to try your hand at generating electrical fractal patterns in wood, etching metal with a low voltage/saltwater combination, and finally creating a paracord handle on a wood knife blank that we will supply. Once the epoxy has cured, we will return to finishing the bushcraft knife using sanders and other tooling on loan from Traditions Workshop. We will finish the handles with Danish oil unless you want to finish your handle at home with a different product (we will discuss your options). This class is sponsored by Traditions-Workshop, Inc.
